THE HESED ASSOCIATION

We are Christians exploring the Truth of God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and the life and testimony of the saints.

We come from differing professional backgrounds united by a calling to live according to the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Bible and the teaching of Jesus Christ. “Hesed” is an English representation of a Hebrew word commonly interpreted as “God’s loving kindness,” which quality is evident throughout the Bible and creation.

Many theories such as evolution have been used to attack the concept of God. Information technology is an often-used component of these and other strategies, the media sadly influencing what people believe and how they behave in unproductive ways. The younger generation are particularly vulnerable to this.

Membership which is free is open to all who are united in belief in the truth and sanctity of God’s Word. Our meetings have often included an in depth on the words of the Bible, beginning with their original meaning in Old Testament Hebrew. This has revealed a source of wisdom which provides firm evidence of the integrity of the entire Bible from Genesis onwards.

The Word of God defines a way of life and belief very different from the world’s too often accepted ways, and our testimony is that our continuing fellowship, discussions and research tend to encourage and inspire us.

We warmly invite others to join us in fellowship, mutual encouragement and in our ongoing studies and consider the possibilities and opportunities they give us. There is no obligation to attend all meetings whether in person or by zoom, but you will receive notice of them and be kept informed.
